Caller claims to be an attorney with a Law Group of (Unintelligible). Claims that they have been trying to resolve a legal case but have been unable to reach me. Threatens to file a case in my county if I do not call back.
Tracy White from attorneys office stated I had a pay day loan from 2010 with an unpaid balance. {co: pay day loans} lady was very rude and called me a liar stating I was going to court. Very rude and hostile
I have been receiving automated, garbeled, and cut off voice mails saying to call 800-829-3688. I had no idea what company the message was from so I just deleted the messages. Today I received an actual voicemail from a Tracy White from a 407-545-4767. The numbers are related. Funny, (and totally illegal) thing is Ms. White says she is with the law offices of UCM & Associates. After a little research I have found that there is no law office under that name, only a debt collection company. It is a FEDERAL violation for a debt collector to state they are an attorney or work for a law firm if they do not. I have not called the number back but might just to screw with them and give them a taste of their own medicine. I can threaten legal action just as they can.
Received a frantic text message from my mother in another state indicating that Tracy White called her from the law firm of UCM threatening to file a court action against me. Same person called my place of employment and became hostile and threatening to the person who answered the phone. Online research shows that UCM is a collection company, NOT a law firm.
