caller id said unknown - when I said hello - mans voice said how are you today -sounded like recorded voice - I replied - who is this - not answering the question - and they hung up on me .... when it rang in at first no sound and then made weird noise and then the caller so I am assuming this was a scam and I did not make a proper reply .....
407 area code. Hmmm I don't know anyone from that area code. These so called charities have no guidelines or principles so they can call anyone anytime... Politicians asleep at the wheel(as usual) and we the people suffer. Another annoyance to endure. Block them you say hehe silly over 1000 calls I have blocked yet they keep coming. Telemarketing infestation fyi I give my number to very few folks yet I average 6 calls a day.
Caller claimed to be a charity for the benefit of police and law enforcement officers. Asked for a donation to be sent by a specified time. Initially asked tor $35.00 to $50.00, then begged for $15.00 to $20.00.
