Caller ID showed this # called yesterday ("WORLDWIDE VACAT"), no message left. Just called it back, line rang four times, a polite person answered and nicely took our # off the list, cheerfully wished me a good day. Fingers crossed it was worth the call.
I work in the call center industry and just received one of these calls. When I called back I actually did get an answer, and was pitched a 9 day vacation package because I had stayed at one of their resorts previously ... which I had not. When I asked to be placed on the do not call list the agent became very rude, continued his pitch, and started telling me I had called him not the other way around (which of course I had ... but I was calling back from the OB solicitation). Eventually I had to request to speak to a supervisor because of the agent's rudeness. We'll see if I get any further calls from them. If so, I will be reporting.
Not only is Do not call list a joke but you are paying millions upon Millions of $$$ to your wounderful government to run this Department. More annoying than the telemarketer. Call your politicial and ask the legal fraud to stop in the Capital.
