This number called me right before another number did, and the second numer 229-208-2008 has received MANY annoying reports here on 800 notes, so I thought it would be helpful to post below what I found and posted for THAT number over here on a listing for the other number. That post was as follows:
March 2012: I received a voice call from this number with no voicemail left (I had ringer off). However, about 1-1/2 hours before that call, I received another call from 1-407-578-8509, ALSO unanswered for the same reason AND no voicemail left again. I receive maybe 5 calls a year at best, so the possibility the two numbers are connected somehow became a strong possibility to me. Searching the area code 229 number led me here to 800 Notes. A search of the first number that called in close proximity of time to the second led me to a result of the 407 area code number to be connected to 4925 Tam Dr., Orlando, Florida (city of Pine Hills, with a strong Spanish community interlaced into a predominantly Black community, and this I know because I lived in Orlando for many years until recently). Of note, there were many listings on the internet for this address/private home being listed, I believe, as a foreclosure sale property (Zillow dot com, government auction sites, etc.). While viewing these listings, I noticed several had the names of a Jean V. Meus and Olivia J. Meus both as being listed on the public internet as owners/former owners of this property. It struck me as significant to mention this because many of you are noting a connection to a spanish-language recording being played when you call the 229 number back, and now the 407 Orlando area code number I received before I received the area code 229 number ALSO has a connection to people with obvious spanish names. If I receive further calls, I will post any additional information that may or may not be related to these findings.
