Got this terrible scammer saying the exact same thing. Got his check and am taking it to the bank to verify it as a counterfeit. Number was (563)-447-0858. I'm not sure how to stop PayPal users but ask for a check and they'll give you a counterfeit one that you can turn into the bank. Never give your address of course and never schedule a pick up until you get as much detail out of them as you can. Unfortunately, these are all most likely "Burn phones" that are untraceable up to my level but I will get back to this forum if something comes up on those numbers. Good on you all for coming together and tracking this A** Clown down. No one preys on my brothers and sisters in any branch like this...

I also got a call from (407)603-5832 - the person was interested in my car for sale. This time the person was "an oceanographer on assignment in England" but wanted to pay for the car through PayPal, etc. DEFINITE SCAMMER.
i also got a text for my truck for sale worded exactly as that im a military personal and restricted due to security and can only pay by paypal how do we stop these scamers this guy has done this to me 3 times 3 differnt phone s 4076035832 2026810188 and 3479484409
anyone got any ideas how we stop this or how thay get any money by doing this
