Called my prepaid cell, a number that I have had for 7-8 years. Recording was so fast I missed who they asked for or who they were. Options press l, I think if you were the party, 2 if you know the party or 3 if you did not know the party & they had dialed a wrong number. I pressed 3, was told to hold on, music played then they hung up on me!
I returned the call & the recording said I had reached Byant Hodge & Associates - a professional debt collection & asset recovery corporation. I asked them to stop waste my $$ on my prepaid cell phone.
Sure tired of paying for some losers debts!!! GET LOST COLLECTORS & Bottom Feeders. You're at least 8 years too late.
These people continue to call and demand payment for a debt that has long since been taken care of. I have asked them repeatedly NOT TO CALL MY JOB but they continue to do so. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This "firm" is NOT accredited with the BBB
Report the calls to the FTC and your state's Attorney General. If you can, get the company name and address so you can send a cease and desist letter (certified mail/signature required/return receipt requested). That way, they'll know you're serious about going after them for violations of the DNC list. Also tell them EVERY time they call that you're recording all their calls to give to your attorney for violations of the FDCPA.
