Call was transferred to me with the same individual asking about "stock advice" and wanted to speak with one of our reps. I told him we reserve stock info for clients only. He wasn't too happy about that response. ;-)
Called and wouldn't say who they are but kept asking for information about who I am! When I hung up on him, he kept calling back. And even tried masking caller ID so it showed up as "Private" but it was the same guy.
Penny stock pushers (OTC bulletin board). They promote B.S. companies, the guy on the other end of the line is compensated on how many shared he gets individuals to buy. 999 times out of 1,000 the investor loses money in these sorts of situations. Take the idea, do your own due diligence, invest with caution.
