I recieved a call from a gentleman named Jack Bruce sounding like a broken record saying he had a buyer for my timeshare and only needed me to register the property first and pay an upfront fee. After doing a little more research I was able to conclude they are just another company out there trying to scam me for some money. They are not with the BBB. They are not licensed in the state to practice real estate and have little if no information on file that states they exist or rent or sell anything. If someone has heard of them and knows any different please contact me Joe_palaggio@gmail. Your help is greatly appreciated!
I too fell for it. And so embarrassed and upset with myself for spending money I could have put to better use. I sent them $2400. The phone numbers are all turned off. 877-874-4613, 321-354-8668, Robert Powers, Jack Bruce and Christopher Adamson were the names of the guys I spoke to. I will also report them to BBB and Florida Atty Gen Office.
I feel like such a fool seeing all your comments. Its too late for me - I too have sent money and am checking my mail box daily for my cheque. I will report them to the Att. Gen's Office. In addition to the names you listed, I spoke to a very "sweet" Kimberly Adams whose father had become terribly ill just 3 days after receiving my cheque so she had to be gone for weeks.(I guess they both died as she never returned)
Well as I hang my head and cry I have now been a victom of a scam. Rick Bell called and had a buyer for my time share we made a deal with a contract with a buyer from mi. Ricks wife had a car wreck on Thursday just one day after we sent money through a bank of america of the total of 1680.31 We no longer have any contact with him and he will not pick up or return our calls... hmmmm. Guess the scammers are still on the move beware if it sounds too good guess its just too good. I have received the same story , a Mr. Rick Bell with First American Financial has a buyer for my timeshare for $14000. All I needed to do was fill out the contract and pay $1,274.89 for Filing fees, Tansfer fees, Title insurance and documentation perparation. The Contract was to be handled by NTC, National Title Closings, a Sarah Hester "Customer Service Manager" The office address is 121 S. Orange ave. Orlando, FL 32801. This is a Virtual office arrangement. The number to contact Mr. Bell is 407-501-9992. I have talked with representatives with First American Financial, they stated that they do not have someone with that name working for them. There is no such web site www.ntcspecialists.com. BEWARE this is a SCAM.
