The same thing happened here, and in perfect English I was told the number was for Spanish speaking only. I explained this number was on the DNC lists, he tried the wrong number game with me. I told him fine, explain it to the folks that will fine him for violating the DNC, and hung up.
I get this too. I live in Miami and my last name is Spanish so I guess they must have purchased my number from some place. I occassionally get automated calls in Spanish due to my last name...
i keep getting these spanish calls like that on my cell phone (including this number), isn't that like illegal? its real annoying i just dont answer unknown numbers anymore cause it costs money!
