The caller said they wanted to verify employment for someone. They asked my name and told me the name of the person they wanted to verify. When I said no they said okay thanks. I said wait don't you want to make sure you're calling the right business? I said who did you mean to call. She couldn't tell me. I said what if you called the wrong number. She said I will verify the number. I said you can just tell me who you meant to call and I can verify for you. She didn't know.
