Just got a call from this Valle Law Firm at the number 407 708 1903. Just rang a few times and hung up. I came right to the computer to see WHO in the world that was and what was it about. I do not have voice mail on that phone, in fact the fax picks it up. I do appreciate 800notes and those of you who report on here. Most helpful!
It's a debt collector Valley Law Firm. They leave their name and number and that it's an attempt to collect a debt, but don't say who they are trying to contact

an Ira Johnson said he's from Valley Law Firm wanting to verify whether funds are good on a check that a client provided to setup ACH. After a couple times I informed him that our financial institution does not do 3rd party verification due to accountholder's privacy, he requested to speak with my manager that I informed him wasn't in but would have given him same answer. He continued by asking to verify whether the account is opened or closed, and I again informed him that's considered private and accountholder can request directly a letter of account verification to provide him. And still he insisted by asking to verify the routing number on the check which he read out 111000614 (belongs to Chase Bank !!) and I answered that's not ours. In reply, he asked for our actual routing number, which I gave because it is public information. Before hanging up, he still asked if there's any other ways to meet his original request. My wondering if anyone else got called from this number brought me to this site.
Numerous voicemails, stating Valley Law firm calling for debt collection. I have no debt, this is scam. When calling them back on off hours voicemail says another company name. SCAM.
