Called twice on 02/22/2011. Early afternoon and early evening and the caller ID said Hilton.
We don't have any business relationship with them and like others, we're registered on the do not call list. So I filed a complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/
It is Hilton Grand, etc.. I called the number back, and just waited until the "to be removed from list" option, which was "press 2" I was sent to a real person, who was very polite about confirming and removing my number. Sure, we shouldn't HAVE to call them back, but it was quick and easy.
I just called the main number for Hilton Grand Vacations 407-722-3521 (be sure to block your number when you call *67) I asked for customer service and had to wait a couple of minutes. I verified mailing address and phone and who I was speaking to (write it down) Told customer service that I wanted my number removed from their call list immediately, that the number they are calling is a residential number on the National and Texas do not call lists and the next time they call me I am reporting them to the FCC as this is violation since I have never done business with nor requested any information from their company. And I would file a claim in small claims court where it is a slam dunk for $500 each offense and I would place a lien on their assets. There seriously was a guy that made about $30k by tracking calls and doing this. I was told they would immediately remove my number! LMAO
This is Hilton. If you want them to stop calling. Answer the questions but tell them your annual income is the smallest amount of the choices they give. They will immediately end the call and never call again. They are looking for people who make over $75k a year.
They have been calling here every night for weeks. Comes up Hilton. They ask for my husband. He answered and told them not to call back. They called again tonight. I told them when they called last night my husband said not to call back. The guy said well it might be about something different, can I talk to him? I said he is not here and I seriously doubt it is about something different and to stop calling. He said you never know it might be something else I'm calling about. I said do not call back and said goodbye. Bet they will call again tomorrow. I'll just do what I usually do, not answer.
