I recieved a similar call asking that the owner call Daniel at the Il.Claim Takers Office re. the purchase of Hvac equipment, sounded a little strange to me.
Its a guy by the name of "Daniel" from "IL Claims". He says he's working for all insurance companies, wanting to give work to home improvement companies.
The number he gives as a call back is 866-893-3044, but I'm not sure where that goes to.

This guy was very persistent and very rude. He called eight times in one day! He claimed that he worked for all of the insurance agencies and that he would get our name into the “Preferred Dealer” database that the adjusters looked at to choose a dealer. He talked to both me and the owner and was pushing really hard to get a credit card number to pay for this "privilage." Somewhere around the fourth call, I mentioned that we would want to check his 'business' out with the Better Business Bureau before we paid out any money and he suddenly became very irate, saying that he was “insulted” that we didn’t think he was legitimate. He then asked, “Well, what would the owner do if the BBB says they have never heard of me or my company!?” This was obviously a huge red flag.
