caller ID said unknown caller/ unknown number. caller had recording at first, something about a disney vacation ( i am on the do not call list). i pressed 1 since i wanted to find out who they were. then a real person answered, and i didn't realzie it was a real person. they asked my age group, basically, youndg to old adult. i said yes. they asked if i waas married or single, i said, "none of your dam business" and then the guy repeated it aback to m e real catty! then he started getting really rude! this person identified himself as "raymond" but never gave name of company til i asked well after the legal time limit.
He told me the name of the co. was "usa vacations".
i said I was on the do not call list, i said, you are A CRIMINAL, doing something illegal: and he said, that i or someone in my household had checked a box online saying they could call. OF COURSE NOT TRUE! I ALWAYS MAKE SURE I DO NOT ALLOW THAT STUFF.
this person continued to make very rude personal comments and would not give me their phone number. maybe they think they have a legit job?
I called *57, and it was untraceable. I called the phone reporting center, and they said if it wasn't traceable by *57, then it was not traceable. TOTALLY ILLEGAL to have no caller id number OF COURSE!
so then the phone center said to call FTC and report this call, @ 877-382-4357. it may be that the ftc can figure out a way to bust them.
Our land-line phone caller ID identified a call received from 407-745-9379 as a "Wireless Caller". I allowed the call to go to voice mail because I didn't recognize number. Caller hung up without leaving a message.
This came in as "Wireless Caller." It was a recorded message that started "Let the memories begin! You have been selected..." at that point, I hung up.
