Called at least 15 times in the last month. I do not even receive serves from the power companies they claim to represent. They also claim to be a public service and are not restricted by the Do NOt Call list.
This is a scam operation. They have another number they operate from but always leave the same message. The power companies know nothing about them. I keep reporting them to the FCC but they keep changing their number. It may be some kind of spoofing (process whereby they steal other people's numbers). I put their number in my "blocked calls" and they started popping-up on other numbers but with the same recorded message. The last call I got had "Kelly Green" in the caller ID spot. Clearly telemarketers trying to circumvent the law. DON'T TRUST THEM or give them any information. These kind of people are unscrupulous.
I had fallen for this scam a few years ago. They will put film on your windows, a/c repair and check yet FPL DOES NOT recognize them working for or with them in any way. In fact, FPL has been trying to track them down for misrepresentation and the guy pops up like a ground hog and disappears again, as the rep at FPL claims. DO NOT deal with this man, you will never get rid of him. I have blocked all the numbers he has called me from and yet calls continue to come from cell phones even with the same recording. It looks like we will have to wait until he goes "back under ground" again before these calls will stop. We have been going through a month of at least once a day calls from him again.
