What ever happen to the call " lower your interest rates " from our buddy Racheal...
have not got a call from them for a long time.... where they shut down I hope
Just got this call from (407) 753-4820 (Apopka, FL) - though of course it is probably not a real number. The call from this number rang twice and hung up. I now often check these calls from unknown numbers to see if there are indeed reported in threads like this one. In any case, I agree with puck1 above: these are likely to be the same scammers that use a different number from this area code: (407) 755-4354 - Winter Park, FL. I got a call from this other number just two days ago. I had already blocked that number but - true to form with these predators - they sneak in with yet another spoofed number. These seemingly never-ending robocalls are like an annoying rash that just won't go away, yes? Like me, I'm assuming that these crooks managed to find your number (by initial random dialing) and now you're inundated with an ongoing assault of robocalls coming from everywhere with a wide array of scams. Looking up this robocalling epidemic, it appears that once these scammers find a 'live' number, they pass the number around to other scammers. If it not already obvious to anyone, these are criminals performing illegal phishing calls, so the 'no-call' list is useless. Just block the number and move one.
