I got a call from a women with a heavy accent saying she was from twc cable & that I owe such & such an amount & when I told her I already spoke to time Warner & told them I'm paying tomorrow when I get paid & then she said well you can post date a payment to restore you service now I owed 4something & I know the minimum amt to pay to return service was 260something & she said the amt owed was 260 something & that I could post date 110dollars to resume service now it just sounded really weird she didn't ask if she was speaking to the account holder or anything & I never pay any bills unless I call the company directly & know I'm speaking to the company I never pay out or give personal info to any solicited Calls saying they are from whatever company then when I called time warner they said they had no notes or anything saying that they called ha it's funny while typing this they just called me again someone's thirsty lol & I had a friend call their number the same lady answers not saying time Warner or anything my friend asked them she says yes this is twc to restore service & when asked to speak to her supervisor she said hold on ucan hear people speaking in the background & you could hear her moving the phone around to hand the so-called supervisior not putting me on hold & transferring me to the supervisors line it was comical after a min or two (which I'm sure she was explaining what was up to this so called supervisor) another women w/ no accent picks up the phone by then I was done entertaining this bs & just hung up called twc once again they said there's no log of any twc people calling me & they said that they think it's a scam bs well thanks but I think that was kind of obvious I thought they would at least take the number that called me & look into it or do some kind of investigation but nope nothing so I'm just warning who ever has gotten called from this number be careful I'm pretty sure its a scam to get your debit/credit card info or something but like I said I'm positive this had to be some scam con [***] so watch out
