I too was just called by a very nice girl who wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit cards, but was only able to explain that because I pay my bills on time each month, they are able to offer a 6.9% rate. That's when I asked for the name of the company again, googled it & found nothing. I then asked for a phone number so I could call her back to verify the business. She said Thomas Baker will answer the phone & you can be asked to transfer to me Anita Brown. They aren't very original in their aka choices. Any way, I looked up the phone number as shown above & found that this may be a scam. The number that showed on my caller id was 407-472-8840 & 442-088-2098. A few days ago, the number was 442-088-2419 (both 442 #s were invalid when I looked them up). "Anita" called me back & I told her that I wasn't interested & to take me off her call list. Be careful - if it's too good to be true . . . it usually is!!
