I was informed that it was AT&T calling to apologize as their records show I've been overcharged $187 a month for the past 6 months and while a review of my account was being made for the past 3 years, would I please verify the number of lines, acct name, etc so she can lock in the new $65 monthly rate (meantime, I'm hearing a regular beep of being recorded). I refused, asked for her phone to call her back later, she gave 800-222-0400 and after a pause when I asked, gave me her name. That is the true number for AT&T Small Business but the caller ID says Unknown Name.
Note: I called AT&T who stated I have not been overcharged however I can get some major discounts if I renew my agreement which is expiring in 7 months; which is apparently when these type of calls start. We put ourselves on a DoNotCall list with AT&T for all AT&T 3rd parties and that hasn't stopped them. She is fortunate I did not provide AT&T with her real number nor the bogus name.
this number call my job also. i give them no information at all. i tell them they have reach drug court and if they need to speak with a supervisor they can call the governor's office. the hang up right away. when i try to call the number back it states the number has been disconnected. scam scam scam....dont not answer any question, hang up or better yet, dont pick up the phone at all.
This guy called me and I couldn't hear him. He told me to quit playing games with him and I cussed him and he called back and said "Eff You B*%!" from a blocked line. HAHAHAHAHAH. What a freak. Sounds like a great job for a psycho!
