My number has NEVER been posted on the internet anywhere! And I've been getting calls from this company stating I signed up for it (I never trust the net for such) and that it's an affiliate of my email company (which would have my number from 9 years ago not my cell). Considering I'm in Canada and it's a cell phone, the fact that a Florida company is harrassing me is really starting to bother me and blowing up my phone bill. I tried ignoring the call but it didn't work. Now when I try to say I want off their list they hang up on my mid sentence
i got a call around the same time but i don't answer numbers i don't know. i'm also in canada, you should call your cell provider and ask them to put a block on that number. good luck.
I also get this phone call today the january 21 2012 i dont know what the hell is that call i never put my number on the internet maybe my hotmail im not one of those persons who trustin internet and the day before the same call of Ontario who says that im winnin a boat trip to the bahamas !!!!! Thats so annoying the other number is 1-647-722-5964 same kind of call that sound like a bunch of crook who try to get some information to rip off your bank account........
Got this call too from a Jose guy that wanted my expiry date on my credit card ...securing, according to him a trip to the Bahamas and Florida for 25% of the cost....30 minutes I have been asking him to send me the contract first and he never wanted......What a scam
I've been called by the same number, claiming I've won a trip from a contest I've entered. Thing is, I've not entered any contest. They know which credit card I have. Once they've worked their way through their script, you find out that they are trying to sell you a trip at 75% off to Disney. They have been calling everyday for over a week. The last three days I've told them to put me on their "do not call list" and they say that they don't have one, that this is the first time they have called, they try and "over talk" you and don't listen to what you have to say, like they think they are going to be able to convince you of what a great deal this is by p***ing you off even more :S Luckily, they are calling a land line and not a cell number.
Perhaps I'll just leave the phone off the hook next time they call. Near the stereo. While I'm at work. Everybody enjoys thrash-metal music, right?
