This showed up as a blocked call which, with an app I have on my Blackberry my phone simply picks up and hangs up on.  It does, however, show the number if you try to call it back from the call log.  I attempted to call it back (from MY blocked number) and it was an out of service number, which indicates to me that the number is being spoofed.  There is no way for me to know who is spoofing their caller ID, but experience tells me in all likelihood it's good old Portfolio Recovery.  In any event, I thought spoofing caller ID for collections was illegal, but this company has done so before nevertheless.
