I have been getting these calls in the morning. No one is on the phone when I answer. I tried calling back to ask them to take me off the list, but the phone doesn't even ring when I dial the number. This is a business and if they are a mortgage company they should not be calling here.
I am called daily at 11am by these people! At first the line went dead every time I answered. Yesterday I picked up again, and a girl called me by my name and started telling me about how great their interest rates are and what a good time it is to refinance with their company. I asked her where she got my information from (she also knew the amount of our mortgage) and that I am on the national do not call list, she became quite rude and frustrated, and hung up on me.
I have been receiving at least 6 telephone calls a day when this person calls. Last week he called on two separate days every hour on the hour. He does not leave a message. When I tried calling 407-921-8541 to say he had a wrong number, I got that the above number is not a working number.
On one occasion I spoke with a man from this number. He asked for Tim and I told him he had a wrong number. I kindly explained that I had just gotten this number and that each time he calls me, I have to pay for his call because it is a cell phone. He rudely asked me why I don't answer my phone. He waited two days and has started calling again.
Like the other scams. If you do not speak,someone will say hello.This one calls everyday around 10:30-1:00AM and in the afternoon. Claims to want to save you money for a mortgage. Apparently they are phishing for private info.SSN,bank acct's etc. Total idiots.
Phone number comes back as a "not in use" cell phone from Winter Park Fl. They most likely get the lists from public records.
I did manage to get into a "fun" heated argument with one guy who then threatened me and suddenly said he knew where I lived and mentioned my address. Nice touch huh.
If my wireless co.(CIngular) wont block this, Ill probably change my number.
Recieving repeated calls from them they are looking for someone whose name doesnt exist here and then before you can inquire why or whom they are looking for they hang up. Nice to see googling the # gets other people with the same problem
This # calls me several times each day. It is very anoying. Directory assistance says it is not a working #. I also am a cingular customer, and they know that I do not want them to call, but they keep hitting my cell anyway.
