US energy savings program with some offer to send a tech out to my house and see if I qualify for $4000 in US Stimulus funds for energy conservation. They said almost everyone qualifies and wanted to ask me some "prescreening" questions. The first was about my home. I lied and said I live in an apartment and they hung up on me... hopefully that will take me off some lists.
I keep getting calls from 4079233719. When I answer they hang up. If it only happened once I would think someone missdialed but this has been happening regularly for about a month.
Just got a call from this number. I had to say "hello?" twice before someone started talking. She immeditately said "no need to be alarmed, this is not a sales call." She then said something about the same $4000 in stimulus funds that the other post mentions. I asked "How did you get this number?" and she said through an automated list. I then said "I'm at work and can't talk right now" and she hung up. Very odd, I don't usually get calls like this on my cell phone.
