Thank you - good suggestion. As you see, I get so many of these calls almost every day. Maybe Morgan & Morgan can look at my call history and decide to help me out of this spam caller mess.
I know this is a suspicious phone number because every time it appears on my caller ID some one else with a different number leaves a message on my voice mail for me to call the person who keeps leaving a message from the collection agency. I don't know if this makes sense but it's not a coincidence.
United Receipts [or Resource or Re-something] Service: they're some vulture collection company- there's some phone lackey that makes the call & then they have you chasing them.
By you calling back, it gives them legal legs to say that "you returned their call & therefore initiated negotiations with their company". they'll tell you that you owe X,Y or Z money [which you may or may not] & that they're collecting- don't give them the time of day- unless they legitimately own your debt [trust me- they don't] never call them back.
I just started getting this number on my phone. They just call, no message. If I don't know the number & they don't leave a message, they are not getting my time! Glad to see this message board.
I've been receiving numerous calls from this number 407-956-1502- which is an Orlando number. When I returned the call to inquire as to what it is about, I was told by someone that it was URS ... but they would not tell me what URS stood for. After 3 calls I learned that it is United Recovery Systems and that the calls were made out of Houston, Texas. Thus, the number is being spoofed - which I thought was illegal. This is obviously a vulture debt collection service and I don't owe anyone any money.
