Received a phone call informing me that I have "won" a stay at Disneyworld and Daytona Beach, as well as a rental car for one week with unlimited mileage and would need to pay $298 to secure my vacation package. They had my phone number, email address, marital status and an incorrect date of birth (which I didn't correct for them). I was told I entered a draw and was the lucky winner.
They called me the day before from 647-724-0288 as well, and I listened to that pitch for about 10 minutes before hanging up.
Got same Universal Studios free trip offer. Caller immediately asked to verify my postal code, which they had correct, saying I had entered some contest online. I asked what company, then said E-Travel. I then had a long, circular conversation about how it sounded like a scam as they had no number I could call back, and kept pushing really hard to confirm the postal code. I never confirmed it, and eventually hung up.
I just today got another call, from a 647-724-3987 saying the exact same thing. I asked the caller why she did not have a record of the previous call, and she said something about being on a 'different screen', then proceeded numerous times to forcefully confirm my postal code.
