I received a call from this number on my landline. I did not recognize the number and did not answer. The caller did not leave a voicemail message.
I looked up the number on this website and called back. After ~5 min on hold, I was connected to a representative. I told them that I was not a Verizon customer, and the representative told me that my number would be removed from their list.
I moved to Florida over 10 years ago and I have never had any customer relationship with Verizon.
I just had a call from this number today as well. I didn't answer because I didn't know who was calling. My bill just NOW became due. What is their problem? I could see them calling if the bill was really late but the day of? Geesh. I have been a customer of Verizon for at least 13 years and I've never had this happen before. I'm somewhat surprised but with the greed in this country I guess I shouldn't be. Even the companies like Verizon are wanting MORE. I'm glad I entered the number to find out who was calling. Same here! Glad I am switching to Straighttalk next month!!!! My boyfriend already has been using it for over a year and it works great, so I'm gonna save me some money!! And goodbye to the lame calls because my phone will be prepaid. And also only 45 bucks a month!
