bad automated message asks says your card has been limited then ask for your card number

It's a scam to get your card number beware. I received a text from what looked like Verizon at first glance telling me I needed to call this number so I did and it immediately asked for my credit card number.

Asking for credit card number DO NOT GIVE IT OUT! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

Got a text, figured it was a scam, whenever I get something like this I ignore it:

(contact master-card) call
4079664126

Pay attention to "master-card" and its not MasterCard* which is trademark infringement if/when caught.
That is always a dead give away for a scam.
