Same as above, it was a direct sales related to a cheap hotel I stayed in. Usual high pressure sales approach, said I had to pay for a limited time offer on that call or I would lose the opportunity. Woman became obnoxious/rude when I said I would not give my credit card information to someone I could not verify.
I answered this one, as it popped up while I was using my phone. It's directed marketing...in my case, associated to a cheap hotel I stayed at in May this year. I 'had been selected' as one of 100 people being offered a package to use in the next 12-24 months...was supposed to scribble down some information at that point, but I was just about to start driving, and haven't been near my phone since then. So, telemarketing? Probably, but doesn't seem malicious or random web.
