This is a telemarketing company that claims to be a a Google Partner. They also claim that their business name is "Local Listings" and they are based out of Salt Lake City. "Local Listings" cannot be their real business name and they know it is pointless to search for such a business name online because it is such a generic phrase. This company is using scare tactics to try to get business owners to pay them money. Shameful. "Your Google listing has expired, so it has been flagged for removal by Google." 1st- Google listings do not expire. 2nd if this company is a Google Partner and they continue to mislead people and lie, their "partnership" will be revoked. 3rd A Google certified partner just means your company has gone through a certification process to be able to sell Adwords. It does not mean that the company is reputable. In fact quite the contrary. Many "Google certified partners" use that phrase to mislead business owners to think that they are an authoritive company with a real Google affiliation. They simply prey on less knowledgeable business owners so they can con them out of money. 4th. If you do pay this company, they will simply claim your own business information that has already been verified. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION>
Spoofed number probably. "David" called offering Google front page placement. Hangup after I told him that I was "very interested" but I was in a hurry for an IT conference. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to this company. This is a SCAM.
