Supposedly "the Law offices of Harry Sherr"... claiming I have been sued for owing a ridiculous balance from "x" company yet he, Gary Ridge in Litigation @ x233, could not provide any detail about me and wanted the last four of my SSN. He thought he was intimidating with his wimpy voice saying "I'll see you in court." The alternate # to this fake law office is 407-995-3000. I looked up the Lawyer on the Florida Bar and his name isn't registered. This IS A SCAM!!!!! I contacted the company in question that I supposedly owed money and they said I owe nothing and are sending me a certified letter with such information.

Harry Scherr is a dirt bag lawyer here in Florida that works for CACV of Colorado (collection agency) and probably a few others. The collection company does not have a Florida business license to legally go after you in court for the old debt, so they hired this [***] to do there dirty work for them. This SOB sued me in small claims court and got a judgement against me. Of course a small claims judgement in Florida means very little... it's still up to the person that sued you to collect - the court can't force you to pay him. Needless to say, his flunky's call my job at least 4 times a month trying to get me to pay his absurdly inflated judgement. I only owed a fraction of what that jerk judge gave him!
It appears that this is an extortion operation. I pulled the Court Docket for my name & found nothing from this 'firm'. I looked up Mr. Sherr's location on the Florida BAR and I am getting the feeling that Mr. Sherr may not be aware of what the various scam artists using his name & number are doing. If your Court Docket in your County does not pull up a specific action against you, which did not appear for this scam artist, do not send them any money. I am taking the matter under further investigation & will be filing charges through the State Attorney's Office in addition to filing a formal complaint with the Florida BAR so they can investigate the alleged Law Office(s) of Mr. Sherr.
