They just keep calling so I finally picked up the call to tell them I am not interested and STOP CALLING ME. Some guy who said his name was "Mike Riley" a contractor. Probably a fake name. I work in construction myself and know that no legitimate contractor would ever lower himself to cold calling people on the do not call list. People do not repeat do not trust these or any other people trying to get into your house by cold calling you. This is so annoying and sad that these people do find victims out there.
You can tell skin color thru your phone? And what diff does it make what "color" you think he is?? If your amazing phone sight saw him as white would write "some white dude remodeling company"??
I agree about these calls but FYI actually some prefixes do start with a one. The 1 is used when an city has to split area codes in some cities that used to have only one area code. For instance people in San Jose,Ca with area codes 408 now have to dial 1 408.
Some area codes do now start with a 1. San Jose, had to introduce new area codes and instead of changing everyone's old ones they just added a 1 to the old 408 codes and then new numbers got the new area codes. Other cities are starting to do the same.
They called and left no message. Scammers. I have a background in construction and know that no legitimate contractor (they probably don't even have a contractor's license or at best are working off somebody else's license) would ever resort to calling people on the do not call list. If these dirtbag thieves had any kind of a track record they would have customers and be busy working instead of looking for their next victim. Do not let these thieves step foot into your house unless you actually want to get ripped off.
