CID: Name Not Found. Number: 408-179-6589. Relentless. This month I've been getting a lot of calls, mostly from the same operation with prefix numbers starting with 1 and ones like 611, 211, 811, etc. There aren't any numbers with prefixes starting with 1 or any phone numbers with 211, 311, 411, 511, 611, 711, 811, 911. Once the number is blocked, I'll get repeat calls from the same number at the most 4 times and then they'll change their number and start calling me again. All calls that come into my number that I don't recognize are immediately blocked.
Here's my list for this month where I suspect all come from the same hole in the wall:

I just got a call from an air duct cleaning company, saying they are doing cleaning for my neighbors and asking if I want to do that too. I live on Leland Ave. The guy knew my name and address (and obviously phone number). He called from 408-1796589.
He asked of I have central AC and I said no. He then asked if my house is earthquake retrofitted, and said his technician can give me a quote.
He spoke strong and fast, but when I started saying no, he said, and I quote: "you know what? I hope there's an earthquake tomorrow just to teach you a lesson. You are stupid" and hung up.
I continue to get calls from this number also. I always ask for a name and I keep a log of who is talking and what company they are representing (probably bogus). I have asked for General Contract License Numbers and they won't give me one. I have asked them where they got my number (since it is unlisted) and they ignore my question and keep on "selling" me on what ever they are trying to sell me. I'm not sure if they are scamming to see if anyone is home - or - just trying to validate name, number, address. These calls can be traced back (I used to work for the phone company). I have reported this issue to the local police who have put detectives on this and they are actively working on this now.
