Just got a call, caller ID said it was from "408 198 1467"... to my knowledge we don't have "198" as the leading digits in a real phone number, so it's already bogus in my mind before I answer the phone...
Hi, I'm calling from "the air conditioning company" the caller informs me. She goes on to tell me that "our records indicate that you are due to have your air conditioner serviced".
While I am silently scratching my head having never dealt with "the air conditioning company" she immediately pushes forward by asking "when was the last time you had your air conditioning serviced or your ducts cleaned?"
I responded with, "oh, well, I don't know, since your records tell you I am due for a service, when do your records tell you I last had a service?"
A pause and then some sputtering at this point from the other end of the line.... "uhh... well, I don't seem to have that information here".
Caught in a lie the conversation went downhill for her very fast.
Got a call today at work from this number. Answered no one spoked. Also about the same time got a call at my home phone number. Left no message. Who are these people?
Just got a call from this number on my landline. Caller ID said "NAME NOT FOUND" . That seems a bit odd to me... I let the answering machine pick up the call. No message left. Another number to add to the Block List on my phone.
