ID Theft/Credit Card theft Scam!!! Caller identifies themselves as "Sgt. Jackson" from the Sheriff's Office. He goes on to tell you that you missed jury duty and the fine is $800.00. Of course, he'll be happy to have you pay direct with a credit card of your choice.

Claims to be "Sgt. Jackson" from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. Claims that you were subpoenaed for the Calif. State Grand Jury, didn't show, and now there is a bench warrant issued for your arrest. When questioned, the call will be dropped. Total SCAM. This guy should be in the front cell of the Sheriff's Office.

Ditto, SCAM. Thank you everyone for posting. Caller left a voicemail claiming to be "Sgt. Jackson" from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. Claimed that I have a "failure to appear" warrant in my name. I questioned it and then Googled the number, since I haven't had a citation in years!
