Callers, Arabic men, threatening to have me arrest for an unpaid loan but will not provide me with any information orther than the represent a company call Sonic Cash Net Bank. When I call Sonic Cash I was informed that they do not represent them and that these gentlemen are scammin hundreds into paying money to them to keep from going to jail.
Received 3 vc mails from Simon McKenzie stating that myself or my attorney needed to call 408-215-3856 immediately and wished me good luck.
While I have taken a payday loan out from Zip19.com, I've never experienced any problems using their services. It appears that my inforamtion may be shared with other companies. I'll be closing my bank account and reporting a fraud claim immediately.
I received a call from Edgar Paul informing me that I had a warrant issued for my arrest for a default loan with Sonic Net Cash Bank, which he claimed had over 30 payday loan websites and could not be narrowed down for my case. He then told me that I would be looking at paying upwards of $5000.00 if the case went to court.
Today, he called me to say that my payment had been received (and to my freaking surprise, my account was debited for over $1,000.00) and he asked if I would like to pay attorney fees of $300.00 to "the only attorney" who would close my case file.
Perturbed, I called Sonic Net and Sonic Pay Day and both companies informed me that they are in NO WAY associated with Lending Station (the title I have on the debit from my account) and that I did not have any current or past due accounts with them.
I received three calls so far from 408-215-3856. He is definitely a foreigner. First his name was Cooper, now his name is Henry Taxton and I can tell it's the same person. He said that if I dont' call them immediately, all he can tell me is "good luck". This is a scam? I have never dealt with Sonic Cash Bank. So, how do they get our phone numbers?
I was scared too! I was contacted by these guys also and they told me the same thing!!! I was about to cry also when he said I would be picked up and taken to court! thank god this was not true. I hope someone gets them!
