robo person answered goes back to the 8182759671 # they call from several 'local' numbers that appear on Caller ID as 'unavailable' the numbers so far are all 408-290 and olast 4 didgets 6940, 6942,, 6934, and 6928 they want a home owner (I believe they are solar scammers) and I tell them I rent they don't want me than
Man called today and told me all about energy credits and how they will expire at M/E January, blah, blah, blah. I told him I was not interested in solar energy. Proceeded to tell me how he was not a salesman, but just someone who set up referrals for other companies to do an energy analysis of my house and tell me how I could save money, and you bet none of this is free. If this is not a salesman, what is? Same company calls using different phone numbers that are very similar. I just keep blocking them.
As previous postings have stated it appears to be some type of solar solicitation. I keep blocking their numbers, they keep using slightly different numbers. I filed a complaint online a few days ago with the phone company, no response yet. Today I ask to be put on a do-not-call list, she said she could not do that, the calls are computer generated. I told the woman I was a renter, she hung up, maybe now the calls will stop! Very frustrating!
