Who called from 4083179321

I just got a call from a man with a very thick accent, said his name was "Andy William" and that I am being charged with fraud and criminal activity with a financial instutiton. This is te 12th call for the same thing, all with a thick accent, different names and different phone numbers! Called my local police and they told me not to worry that it is a scam.

received a call from this number stating they would pick me up...had some info on me which i never cinfirmed...once I told them I was calling police department he said "no please don't I want you to be my girlfriend I love you...Please please do not call the police..." guy had a thick accent.

A person with a heavy accent said their was a lawsuit against me for fraud of 5,000 dollars and that it was from a loan online of pay day advanced. I told him I had no clue what he was talking about. He had a heavy accent and the caller id number showed up as 916-395-0000 but to call him back or else my case will be terminated . Weird.

I got a call from an ID saying 0000.  It was a 'Gary Miller' with a very thick accent.  He is telling me that I am going to be arrested within 2 hours if I do not pay them $533.00.  He said that the loan was from cashnet.com.  I checked, and cashnet.com is a student loan agency, they do not even handle payday loans.  So this must be a scam.  I guess I will find out in 2 hours.  I called them back, and asked them to send me receipt of a loan, some sort of paperwork, and they hung up on me.  I'm thinking it's a bunch of foreign scam artists.

This guy is a wack job. He has been calling our place of business at least a dozen times a day for the last 2 weeks. This time he says he is a lawyer, and says profanities and hangs up.
The calls are coming from a Lan line in Los Gatos, CA. From my understanding it is illegal to make harassing calls in California.
We will be filing a police report.
