This number called our office 12 times in one day. The caller stated that they would give us great deals on advertising. They wouldn’t leave messages when the phone couldn’t be answered. As the owner of the a busy business, I called this number back. A women named Cindy answered the phone and let me have it. Screaming at me, telling me that I have been harassing her all day. Yeah the plot thickens right? So, now I was curious. I called her back, same response. I told her that she has called my office all day, she hung up on me. Not five minutes later, the number called back so I answered the phone and let them this women, named Raphael with an Indian accent, do her spill. I was so nice and asked lots of questions. She said she was from a company named Staff 2 Rent, www.staff2rent.com. I asked her who was Cindy and why she freaked out on me and why she was answering the phone? Of course she had no idea and told me the phone lines must be crossed. I told her I would hang up and call her back, if Cindy answered I would tell her what was going on. Well, when I called this time, guess what? It was this advertising place and not Cindy. I told Raphael that this phone line crossing bull was making this sound like a scam. I really wanted to see what she say, it was fun at this point. She said she would report this to her manager. I said I would explain it to him and I didn’t mind holding, well he was unavailable. I told her I called the 1-800 number at ww.staff2rent.com and choose 3 for the corporate office, well that went straight to some mans voice mail. She had no idea why. At this point I told her this was a scam, she said I could call 945-353-0806 and speak with corporate. Well while she was talking, I Google the number, 945 is not an area code and I had someone from my office call the number, not in service. I asked her why, she had no idea. At this point I had to get back to work. I told her that if this was a real company, they really need to work on their phone numbers and if it’s a scam she needs more practice because she sucks at it. If this number calls have fun with them. Google is a wonderful thing.
