On 3/24/12, I received a call from a man named Kevin, with a Chinese sounding accent. Said he was representing some kind of building company, wanting to know if I was going to sell my house. I told him I did not want to sell my house and he very quickly ended the call.
I received a call from this phone. The gentleman's name was Kevin and he said that he was calling on behalf of his Financial Advisor for Bank of Montreal. He wanted to set an online appointment with online and phone banking (which I already have) and that he wanted my email. I didn't give out any information and I quickly called my bank informing them of the weird phone call and was told that this was definitely a fraudulent call and that BMO (Bank Of Montreal) does not call out for such appointments and also does not ask for my email whatsoever. It is something they already have on file. This phone call was from a scammer wanting bank information. Investigation has been started, however the more complaints about this number, the more information they have and the quicker they can catch these crooks.
Note: Caller had a very harsh accent (couldn't tell what type) and when he spoke, the background noise was with a huge echo which didn't sound at all like a call center.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION OR EMAIL OR ANYTHING TO ANYONE CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER.....(as stated by Bank of Montreal)

Someone from this number keeps calling my daughter. I just called it back. A man answered. When I told him someone keeps calling, and asked who I was speaking with, he hung up. I called it back and it went to voicemail. Douche.
