They are illegally soliciting people for commercial purposes. They asked for someone who died more than 15 years ago and our number has been on the federal no call list for more than 10 years.
Caller ID says Allergan Local; Allergan is a pharmaceutical company, I highly doubt they would be calling individuals. Undoubtedly yet another scammer.
African-American man saying he is air duct cleaning locally. He did not sound intelligent enough to hold a job. He is preying on people and seeing if they answer the phone or not so he can burglarize your property. I asked him to take me off the list and leave me alone, and he proceeded to tell me he will call me again tomorrow if he wants to and does not care. He is violating me (privacy, safety, theft, etc) no matter what!

The caller has called my business numerous times on two different phone numbers. The first few times, I answered and there was no response. On about the fourth call, a woman finally responded and apologized and said she would take me off their list after I told her she was calling a business. About an hour later, I received another call on my other line. I immediately told the caller to stop calling and the caller responded that "it depends on whether you need your air ducts cleaned!". I again told him that he is calling a business, to stop calling and hung up the phone. I have not heard back yet, but this definitely sounds like some kind of a scam.
I said, "Hello". After a short delay, the caller said, "Hello". Lots of background noise. I'm guessing "ALLERGAN LOCAL," is a misspelling of allergen, which would be a reasonable name for an air duct cleaner.
