Call came on my landline. CID: Out of area with the number 408-365-7249. Since I'm a 408 area code, I pretty much knew a call "supposedly" from the SAME area code should not say "Out of area" was some sort of scammer/spoofed number or CID (so the call would go through. I have all calls without a CID blocked.) Answering machine picked up the call and of course, no message was left. Some sort of robocalling scammers no doubt. Number added to phone's block list.
