THIS LADY CALLED MY MOM SAYING THAT SHE OWES MONEY IN TEXAS AND THAT SHE HAD TO PAY THE COMPANY BACK . THEY SAID THEY WILL BE SENDING A SHERIFF OVER TO PICK HER UP AND SHE WILL BE IN JAIL FOR 3 MONTHS UNTIL THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED! SCAM..SCAM...SCAM
Got a phishing call from "Microsoft security" about my home computer. I don't have any Windows PCs. I decided to waste some of their time. So, I told them I had to boot it up. They told me I had a "severe virus" reported to the international server! Oh, my! I told them it was booting and to hang on. I put the phone down and left the room. I came back 4 minutes later and hung up. They called right back from 408-372-0358, a MagicJack number. I told them to hold on and put the phone by the TV until I got the disconnect tone.
