I just received a call from this same phone number. The man stated his name was Kevin Jones with Litagation Department, and that I had an outstanding cash advance with Cash Net USA. He also stated that it was taken out Dec. 2010, for $300. I told him he was mistaken that I didn't owe Cash Net USA, and he said that it wasn't. He said he was the senior attorney for my case. He wanted to know if I wanted to settle it out of court or in court. This is nothing but a scam from people preying on others who are trying to make an honest living. I told Mr. Jones that I would be contacting the Federal Trade Commission and turning him in, and I was not going to pay for a cash advance that I had already paid off. These scum go on line and find out who has taken our cash advances or payday loans. Once you pay the loans off. They get your information which is public information and they start calling and hounding you to pay them. They are harassing anyone they can, they use threats of you being arrested at your place of employment, and you losing your job. I think its time these people get real jobs instead of scamming hard working, tax paying people.
This company tries to collect on internet cash advances and is noted as being a scammer. as perviously posted do not give these people any of your information, in turn ask them for their mailing address and the owner of the business name so that you can pursue legal action against them. Just for your information if you are ever attempting to get a cash advance from the internet. The money will come to your account and then forever and a day this debt will go from one hand to another if not paid, the issue is is the company that gave you the money is a international company not located in the US and these are not legitimate businesses. Times are hard but not that hard to get into this terrible situation as they will try to scam you out of money even if you never got a cash advance and merely applied for one. DO NOT DO ONLINE INTERNET CASH ADVANCES
NEVER do an online cash advance... these people are bottom feeders that get your information from those that you may have borrowed from before... All of my previous loans are paid back and I get about 10 calls a day threatening me with court cases... GO FOR IT is all I can say... It is a complete scam!
