These people keep flippin' calling , since my fiance signed up with a job search online. The number came up along with the name ONLINE CAREERS. If you talk to them they act like YOU contacted them, they can also say it's marked somewhere on the job search sign up that a third party may contact you if you bring up that you're on the DO NOT CALL LIST . I pick up and hang up. They should eventually get the message.
I've recently begun getting calls from this number. I applied for a job on-line and had to give my phone number when I registered with the site and these calls began soon after that. Can't help be think they must somehow be related.
For the last two days, my office has been called about a dozen times by nearly as many phone numbers, all asking for a co-worker who "signed up to receive info" about a career institute, and he claims he did not. I've gotten familiar with the voice of a caller named "Nathan" who I believe has called from 408-417-5527, 310-256-3541, 302-394-6827, 312-878-5679, 404-891-6835, and 866-701-1762. It's possible that similar-sounding people have called, but Nathan has been extremely rude to me and seems to think that's going to somehow make me force my co-worker on the phone. This is ridiculous--these people will not take a hint, nor even a direct request to stop calling. I said on Nathan's second call "I spoke to him after you called and he said he's not interested in any info," and was told in a snotty voice "Well, he signed up for a LOT of information, and I want to see that it gets to him.
