This is supposedly Direct TV. They offer HBO, Showtime, Starz and Encore at discount prices. It never gets turned on but your account is never charged for the services either. Just a scam.
I got a call from this number. it came up on caller id as direct tv. i called
and got the same message. no one is there to take your call. I called dorect tv
they said they were not running any promotions, like the person told me and
my account wasnt charged for any. I think its a scam to.
I got a call from this number as well offering me 2 promotions. I called Directv, 2 customer service techs called me a liar and said I was making up story.
I did the same exact thing. As long as you're telling them "No, I don't want to sign up for any channels" they just keep asking you questions. I finally hung up on the guy.
