I got the call from 408-418-5587. Caller ID shows SECUR SLNS WCA. Recording says they're in the neighborhood (yea, right), and offers some sort of free system (I do not doubt "free" install and then hefty monthly subscriber fees to infinity) if you would only plant their sign in your yard.
Try punching 3 or whatever says will get you off the list, and then if similar calls continue, file a complaint with DO NOT CALL registry. (Your number has to be in the registry at least a month before you can complain about calls.) Assuming that the caller ID number isn't scammed, as I notice this same company is reported for other numbers. Unfortunately the call was to my IP telephony service that doesn't include call blocking by phone number. (The service for my home office phone does--plays a message that the line is disconnected to black-listed numbers. Pretty much cures the unwanted call problem.)

They called me today. First time call to me. ID said 'SECUR SLNS WCA'. Dialed it back to get an opt out menu, which it had. Oddly, accordong to the automated message, I've been subscribed to whateverthehell this is since Aug of 2010. Really? And I never heard of it until now.
'If we call and pick up your phine, we are goving away $100 a day to lucky subscribers who answer the phone and $1000 quarterly! You could also win gift cards and blah blah blah if yyou stay subscribed." I opted out.
