You are correct these are political in nature.Both major parties do this.Most of these calls are from volunteers.Many of these calls are from the volunteers homes. Volunteers but absolutely irritating never the less !!
I've been getting these calls daily. The caller ID shows that it is the RNC (Republican National Committee) I just put them on ignore because all they want is money.
I received a call today from this number, 606-558-5681. Caller ID showed RNC, republican national
committee. I did not answer. Also received calls for the past 2 days from RNC from 408-418-5637
and 213-289-5682. They apparently are calling from all over the country. SO AGGRAVATING!!!

I keep getting these calls, I never answer them. They called last night and my husband answered, the man even asked for me by name. I told my husband I don't answer them and he can call as many times as he wishes, I still will not answer. At first I was thinking they are calling because every time I get a survey from the RNC I would send it back either unopened and "return to sender" or I would open it and send it back with " I DON'T DO SURVEYS" printed all over it. Regardless I'm still not answering. REALLY TIRED OF THESE PEOPLE CALLING.
