They have been calling me ten times a day for a week!! I added myself to their "do not call" list but still get calls!! I answer and no one says anything, just hangs up. I call back and the recording is not helpful.
This is a scam to get your creit card number! do not give any info of any kind! No email address or other phone number and no home address. give them nothing!
I've had the same issue as everyone here, but I think I know the cause. I purchased an 'as seen on TV' product via the web about a week ago. After my purchase, someone from the company called me to follow up. At that time, the person had asked me if I wanted to sign up for an additional trial of a $30/month coupon service for travel and hotels. They claimed that this trial would cost $1 and last two weeks at which point I could cancel or continue the service for the normal fee. Just for trying this out, they would give me a $50 Walmart/Target gift card. However, I declined the offer.
A few days after that initial call, I began to receive the exact same types of calls that all of you are describing at an increasing frequency. I too tried to opt out of the list, but that seems to only have caused them to call me more. I am going to call the service provider, "Budget Savers", on their provided number to attempt to remove myself.
