Called the number, it's a Subscription Renewal Processing Center for free trade journals. If you wish to renew, press 1, if not, press 2. I pressed 2, hopefully the calls will stop now.
I've gotten three calls today from this number. The first call (around 9:00am), no one would answer when I said hello and the line went dead after 5 or 10 seconds. The second call was at 10:45am asking for a Mr. Richard Yee to renew a subscription. I told them that no one worked here by that name. Third call at 2:30pm, the line was quiet for a second then the caller started eating potato chips (or something like it) for the next 20 seconds and hung-up.
Getting calls from this number almost every day. Either no one is on the other side of the line, or someone yells "HELLO?" and then immediately hangs up on me. Most irritating. I would like to find a way to get them to stop harassing me.
