A company I can assume a collections company I have received calls from them before but no answer when I picked up. About 3-4x before this call. This time after a brief silence a lady came on asking for John, I said she had the wrong number. she then asked do you know a John his last name being spelled (then she proceeded to spell his last name, sneaky they are). I said no then she said Im sorry you must have a recycled number I will take you off our list. Hopefully they don't call again.

Some a-hole calling to "inform" (e.g., scare, like phone clowns are scary) me that some b.s. had cross his desk and he needs to collect. He's/they are a collection agency of some kind--either a scam one or a real one, I am not sure. But please be advised: NEVER let these miserable scum of the earth scare you. They are pathetic losers and have no legal authority to do anything--as long as you don't talk to them and tell them you owe something. If they sue you (Discover Card is notorious for hiring scumbag low-level / useless "attorneys" to sue people for ccard debt under 2 grand), simply avoid the summons for as long as possible and then either fight it (I would never not do so) by using a bankruptcy or other attorney or filling out and filing motions yourself. Do NOT let these multi-billion dollar empires of fecal matter ruin your life or have any negative influence on your happiness! They are scum of the earth. Makes you wish we went back to the days during which "usurers" (money loaning a-holes) were executed.
